whenever my twin and I write 'vintage' to describe an accessory it means that we either stole the object from our parents and thus don't know the origins of it... or we ransacked our old, neglected jewelry box full of accessories given to us when we were younger and found items that were just amazing. due to lack of appreciation [or style, for that matter] our young selves would just throw our newly obtained jewelry in our pink and blue jewelry boxes and get on with our twinly shenanigans. anyway, what I'm trying to get at here is that by going through your [or your parents'] old stuff you can find the coolest things that you [or your parents] might have forgotten about or just not have appreciated enough...so go through your old stuff and find yourself some 'vintage.' [its almost like shopping since your adding a new jewel or clothing article to your closet/ jewelry stash!]
